NASA has gotten images of Phobos and Deimos from Mariner 9, Viking 1, Mars Global Surveyor.
ESA has gotten photos of Phobos and Deimos from Mars Express.

On May 30, 1971 Mariner 9 was launched towards Mars.



 






















Mariner 9 took these pictures of the two moons Phobos and Deimos.






















On August 20, 1975 Viking 1 was launched towards Mars.
